The 12th annual Appalachian Energy Summit was held at App State June 3 and 4. Once again, the Appalachian Energy Center partnered with the Summit’s host, the Office of University Sustainability, to carry on a popular Summit tradition, the student poster competition. The competition offers students the opportunity to present their recent clean energy-related research activities and compete for cash prizes.

Serving as the competition’s judges’ panel this year were Dr. Gaye Acikdilli from Bowie State University, Tracy Dixon from the State Energy Office, Dr. Jerry Griffith from UNC Pembroke, and Jay Price from University of Tennessee at Knoxville.poster24-4.jpg
